Stephen lives and works on Dja Dja Wurrung country in central Victoria and has spent the past 13 years working in various positions at Bendigo Venues & Events. He is currently responsible for the coordination and development of the performing arts program in a suite of venues including the Ulumbarra Theatre, Capital Theatre and the Engine Room in central Bendigo. After working extensively in technical production and event services for many years, and more recently in venue administration and programming, Stephen is now a key member of the team providing the successful delivery of numerous events and projects that continue to build Bendigo’s reputation as a leading regional centre for the Performing Arts. Stephen has a keen interest in the role of the regional Performing Arts Centre, and strongly believes in the importance of contemporary arts programs and participation as a central driver in the development of a vibrant and sustainable regional community.
