SPEAKER: Caroline Sharpen
Caroline Sharpen has worked as a senior executive in Australian and US cultural organisations for two decades, and in 2019 became Chief Executive Officer of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Caroline remains Principal of her own Sharpen Creative Industries Consulting after roles as Director of Gondwana Choirs, the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra, Director of Development at the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Director of Business Development at Musica Viva. She was a Fellow at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, holds a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and, proudly, achieved her Bachelor of Music (Honours I) and Graduate Diploma in Music at the University of Tasmania.
