SPEAKER: Bronwyn Bancroft
Bronwyn Bancroft is a proud Bundjalung woman and artist who has been exhibiting nationally and internationally for over three decades. Among her many achievements, she has has illustrated and/or written 41 children’s books, including The Art in Country: a Treasury for Children and The Colours of Australia. She has been a Director of her own company, Designer Aboriginals Pty Ltd, since 1985, and a volunteer senior strategist at Boomalli Aboriginal Art Gallery since 2009.
Bronwyn Bancroft is a graduate of the Canberra School of Art and the University of Sydney, which awarded her Doctor of Philosophy in 2018. Her art is held in several major collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Parliament House Art Collection.
